Core Logic
Merchants only need to handle operations from “order generation” to “delivery to Cainiao US Warehouse”. Cainiao will take full responsibility for subsequent cross-border transportation, customs clearance, and last-mile delivery in China, leveraging the integrated ecosystem of Tmall/Taobao and Cainiao.
I. Pre-Order Preparation

- Bind Tmall/Taobao Store with Cainiao Warehouse
- Ensure the health product store has been settled in Tmall Global or Taobao Global Shopping, meeting qualification requirements (provide US brand authorization, FDA certification, cross-border e-commerce import filing documents, etc.)
- Complete the binding of “Cainiao US Warehouse” on the Cainiao Merchant Workbench, activate warehousing permissions, and obtain designated US warehouse address and specifications
- Confirm Commodity Label Templates
- Download special label templates for health products from the Cainiao Merchant Background
- Templates must include mandatory Chinese information: product name, ingredient list, efficacy description, country of origin, shelf life, importer information, and Cainiao-exclusive logistics code
- Test print clarity and pasting standards in advance
II. Order Processing
From Customer Order Placement to Warehousing at Cainiao US Warehouse

- Order Trigger and Information Synchronization
After Chinese customers place orders in the Tmall/Taobao store, the order information is synchronously updated to the merchant background and Cainiao logistics system. The system automatically generates a “Cainiao Warehousing Order” (including order number, logistics code, and Cainiao US Warehouse receiving address).
- Commodity Sorting and Label Pasting
- Sort corresponding health products from local US inventory according to order information (verify shelf life and packaging integrity)
- Print Chinese labels strictly according to Cainiao template and accurately paste them at designated positions
- For consolidated packaging: each product must be individually labeled + consolidated packaging list on outer box
- Deliver to Cainiao US Warehouse
- Pack products according to Cainiao’s requirements (outer box must be pressure-resistant and moisture-proof)
- Mark with prompts such as “Health Products” and “Fragile”
- Select Cainiao-recognized local US courier (USPS, UPS local delivery service)
- Upload logistics tracking number on the Cainiao Merchant Background after shipment
- Warehousing Acceptance at Cainiao US Warehouse
- Warehouse staff scan logistics code and commodity label to verify consistency between the order information and the physical goods
- After passing the acceptance, the system updates the status to “Successfully Warehoused at Cainiao Warehouse”
- Merchant completes all operations – Cainiao takes responsibility for subsequent processes
